Northwest Church

This is the Hispanic Foursquare Church in Salem, a city that is now approximately 29% Hispanic. Pastor Freddy is a dedicated pastor, evangelistic at heart and he serves his community well. The church has a large older structure on a very good location. They have been able to complete certain upgrades but could use assistance on several others. Some of the projects that will be considered include: a kitchen remodel, the extension of a wall and door to that kitchen, upgrades to the fellowship hall area, electrical work, possible bathroom remodels, possible work on the heating system and insulation, new exit stairways (2 levels), and a number of smaller projects which will depend on the size and skill of the team, including a possible VBS. Dete and Anne Brunner and Gary and Jody Gordon will be team leaders. 

Cost is $60 (for food, plus team t-shirt). Housing cost depends on your choice of motel, camping, or host home, and transportation is also up to you.

Team training dates: June 23, July 14, and July 28 - in L2 from 2:00pm-4:00pm

Applications are due March 17th. Information sheets and applications are available in the foyer on the weekends and in the office during the week.
