key elements of an LTG
A Steady Diet of Scripture
• The suggested weekly Scripture reading is between 7-35 chapters
• When the agreed upon reading is not completed by all members of the LTG the passages are re-read by the entire group for the next week
• Re-reading is not a negative; it helps in understanding & applying the truth of God's Word to one's life
• Use the acronym S-O-A-P:
S - Write down the verse of SCRIPTURE that speaks to your heart
O - Write down a brief OBSERVATION about the verse you have chosen
A - Write down how this verse APPLIES to your specific life situation
P - Write down a PRAYER concerning your application of the verse
• Confess your sins to one another and pray for each other
• Pray with each other for the non-believers God has placed on your heart
• Share personal testimonies of God's workings in and through you the past week
• Minister to each other through the Holy Spirit (edification, exhortation & comfort)

• Read through the LTG Questions and respond appropriately• Confess your sins to one another and pray for each other
• Pray with each other for the non-believers God has placed on your heart
Relational Development & Spiritual Growth
• Share the important things God is doing in your life• Share personal testimonies of God's workings in and through you the past week
• Minister to each other through the Holy Spirit (edification, exhortation & comfort)
